Team Crannoch is made up of a number of individuals with a variety of skills and  knowledge and all of whom are committed to providing an environment that allows young people "Room to Flourish" and "Space to Grow".

Team Crannoch work hard to keep up to date with current practice.  A program of development is designed annually based on the needs of the young people and of the team.  At the 2017 CELCIS Conference Crannoch achieved a "Highly Commended" Certificate for our Induction Programme and our eLearning Programme. (Further information can be found below).

Each member of the Team is a member of Disclosure Scotland's PVG Scheme and Care Workers are required to register with the SSSC within 6 months of commencing employment.  In order to be employed as Residential Child Care Workers, Staff are required to gain an HNC in Social Care and be assessed as competent at SVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People.  Crannoch supports its staff to gain the necessary qualifications and sets time side for study.

As well as support to gain essential qualifications, Crannoch provides a range of Development opportunities for the Team.  These range from External Training, use of Consultants, eLearning, Seminars through CELCIS and SSSC and development in conjunction with other providers such as Fife Council.

Each member of staff is required to complete a 6 week induction programme which takes the form of an iBook or PDF which incorporates links to policies and procedures, eLearning modules and government information pages on the internet.
